Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
University Adult Care (UAC) ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you send an inquiry, request a tour, or submit a job application through the links on this site, you provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, and — for job applications — employment history. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule visits, and consider applications. It is stored securely in Senior Care Connected, the care-management platform we use to run the center, and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
How your information is protected
Everything you submit through our online forms is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between your device and our systems, and encrypted at rest once stored: our databases sit on encrypted storage, and sensitive details receive an additional layer of field-level encryption (AES-256) — including your contact details and tour request from the inquiry form, employment application contents, and identifiers such as Social Security and insurance numbers collected during enrollment. Uploaded files (such as resumes) are kept in encrypted cloud storage. Access is limited to authorized center staff who sign in with individual accounts.
Health information (PHI)
Information about participants' health that you share with us during enrollment or care — such as medical examinations, TB testing, medications, care plans, and incident reports — is protected health information (PHI). We handle it confidentially, consistent with applicable health-privacy laws including HIPAA, and use it only to provide care. Specifically, we protect PHI by:
- Encryption — health records are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest with an additional layer of field-level AES-256 encryption on top of encrypted database storage; uploaded medical documents (such as TB test results) are kept in encrypted cloud storage.
- Minimum-necessary access — staff sign in with individual accounts, and clinical records are restricted by role, so team members only see the health information their job requires.
- Accountability — access and changes to records are logged in an audit trail, and sessions automatically sign out after inactivity.
- Your authorization — we release health information to outside parties only with a signed Release of Information from the participant or their responsible party, or as the law requires.
Information collected automatically
This website is a simple informational site. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on it. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may log requests as described in Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
- You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you or to request a correction or deletion.
- You may always call us instead of using the online forms: 704-510-0030.
